Between 2020 and 2023 .the effects of the pandemic made it problematical to bring groups of school children together to share in joint projects. Also, even before the ‘lockdowns’ the number of schools wanting to take part in had become too numerous to all meet up in-person on the Rathcroghan mound in safety. The project needed to ‘shapeshift’ a little. This is why I suggested offering an ‘on-line’ Óenach where schools could join up to share and enjoy each other’s exploration and enjoyment of early Irish stories. Although this project formally ended in 2024, the support material are still available. Please feel free to use and adapt them to your circumstances.
