The Celtic Eye group have been busy with some exciting activities. Here are reports some of their recent events.

Farm PEAT & the UÍ MÁINE KINGDOM Group exploring the Art of Nature of the magical unique Karst landscape of South Roscommon through an Artists eye.
Uí Máine kingdom group ( Karst Farming & Celtic Eye Art Group ) were delighted to start the New Year with a visit from Farm PEAT Katie Smirnova to our Choill Tigh Gallery in Co Galway & later to the magical unique Karst Landscape of South Roscommon.
Katie spent the afternoon in the Gallery exploring all the diverse Art & Craft by the many Artist around the Country, the Irish Wheelchair Association ( Athlone ) & St Hilda’s ( Athlone ) who have joined & supported our Biodiversity, Nature, Heritage, Culture & Folklore project over the past 3 years.
Later in the afternoon katie walked the magical unique karst landscape of South Roscommon which is steeped in Biodiversity, Heritage & Folklore.
We look forward to seeing Katie & her Farm PEAT team on Friday February 2nd 2-4 as we join them in Ballydangan to collaborate with the Community & Local Farmers for ” WORLD WETLANDS DAY ” alongside the Ballydangan Bog Red Grouse Project.

The Roscommon Volunteer Awards.

The Celtic Eye Art Group were delighted to attend the Roscommon Volunteer Awards event in the stunning Kilronan Castle & be recognised for our Volunteer work that our group has done in the past 3 years in hightlighting the unique karst landscape of South Roscommon, Biodiversity, Nature,Water, Culture, Heritage, Folklore, Myths & Legends of the Land .
We would like to thank everyone who has joined us on this Journey over the past 3 years & continue to do so.
